Nearly half of Americans consider cell phones the most dangerous driver distraction, yet many continue the behavior, according to a survey conducted by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. Of 1,503 drivers surveyed for the Columbus, OH-based company's second annual "Driving While Distracted" survey, 81.3 percent admitted to talking on a cell phone while behind the wheel, even though 48 percent said they consider doing so the most dangerous distracted driving behavior.
