A new tool for assessing the safety and health implications of nanotechnology is now available.

The International Council on Nanotechnology is offering the Nano-EHS Database Analysis Tool as a means to compare peer-reviewed publications addressing nanotechnology's impact on health, safety and the environment. ICON is a global group managed by the Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology at Rice University in Houston.

"In addition to returning a list of abstracts that meet criteria chosen by the user, the database now allows the user to analyze research trends across time and by category," ICON Director Kristen Kulinowski said.
