NSC calls for lifesaving action
David Teater, National Safety Council's senior director, Transportation Strategic Initiatives, wrote an editorial featured in the July 29 issue of USA Today titled, "How Many More Must Die?" In the editorial, Teater calls for immediate adoption and aggressive enforcement of laws "that will protect us from people who put us in danger by talking, texting, reading or writing e-mail, or surfing the Internet on their phones while driving."
